Weekly Quran class
I have been taking a weekly Quran class through Sameera Institute for more than two years and IA will now enroll in the Alima program this summer. The motivation to do so comes not just from the knowledge gained in the weekly class, but also from the encouragement of my teacher and fellow students. What I am very impressed with is that Ustadah Sameera is so friendly and approachable; encouraging student involvement that it puts the student at ease and makes learning enjoyable! Her method of teaching has drawn me to learn and practice my deen with better understanding. I actually look forward to each and every class and miss them when they are off.
Quran Tafseer, Hadith, Fiqh, Arabic grammar…
Alhamdulillah Sameera Institute has allowed me to study and learn subjects like Quran Tafseer, Hadith, Fiqh, Arabic grammar, and Seerah of Sahabiaath. During these courses our teachers, Sr. Sameera Shah and Sr. Mariam Sattar, have showed us how to correctly do our faraid like praying salah and making wudu and they have clarified misconceptions that many Muslims have. By studying the deen more Alhamdulillah I have found more peace in my life. I think everyone from all walks of life no matter how busy we may be with work, school, or family and kids can benefit from studying the deen InshaAllah.
Pursuit of Islamic Knowledge
A student of knowledge is always advised by mashaikh to keep good company in order to progress on the path of knowledge and spirituality. Being a busy mother of 4 boisterous boys, I neither had the time nor the opportunity to keep such company. Sameera Institute’s Classical Islamic Knowledge course has proven to be the fertile ground I needed to nurture my quest for Islamic knowledge. It has provided me the environment I so urgently sought. The strongest component of the course is its human capital – its excellent teachers. They have dedicated their lives to this course and have a personal stake in its success. Hence they are always available to help the students in every way. The course has a holistic approach in that it has a physical and spiritual component – courses in Ahadith, Quran, Fiqh and Arabic build a strong foundation for the understanding of the religion of Islam while tazkiyah workshops satisfy the spiritual aspect. The course thus forces the students to reflect on their shortcomings, internalize what they learn, and attempt to purify their tainted hearts. Anyone who wants to make a profitable investment for their lives in the Hereafter should tap into this fountain of knowledge.
Being in CIK has been an amazing journey
Being in CIK has been an amazing journey and I’m so thankful for this beautiful opportunity. The teachers, Sister Sameera and Sister Mariam are amazing teachers who have so much love and passion for what they do and they are dedicated to helping their students succeed. As a college student its was at hard at first and sometimes still is, to balance college studies with CIK studies but Allahmudallah with the help of Allah it gets done. It might be a struggle at first but don’t give up, you’ll love the feeling later on, the class puts barakat and ease in whatever we do. You’ll meet a lot of humble and loving company who want nothing but the best for you.
Ilm Life
Let me start out by saying I’m overly grateful for this class. It has changed my life in such a unique way that the change is not a burden but more of a blessing. I’m currently a college student, studying nutrient along with pre-dentistry. One of the challenge I’ve faced was trying to balance out school work and Ilm assignments but alhumdulilah everything just falls in place. As the classes get in depth somehow it’s much easier to tackle university life and Ilm life.The teachers are soo amazing they go according to the students’ pace. They are truly amazing teachers who are dedicated to the deen and are very humble, loving and caring teachers. You can go to them for anything and everything. It’s a blessing to have teachers like them. I know 3 years seem like a big commitment but try it out for a year because it’s worth the journey.
Ilm Education at any age
I have 4 kids between the ages of 4-10, I was nervous before beginning the CIK course with Sameera Institute. I was pursuing my masters degree at the same time so that added to the bit of hesitancy. But Alhamdolillah , I am so very grateful to Allah swt to have guided me to these teachers and these gatherings of beautiful sisters. I cannot begin to express the amount of peace, barakah and overall strength in my deen that I have gained since I have been taking the course. There are many things in me that I need to change, but Alhamdolillah this course helps me to discover what changes I need to bring in myself to please my creator, and iA get the ultimate success – Jannah. To anyone out there who is contemplating it, please take that step and register. This is an excellent opportunity. A group of dedicated teachers who are willing to take out that time for our tarbiyah is a huge blessing. Let’s not let it go to waste!
Ilm Intellecutal Education
I joined Sameera Institute in the beginning of 2015 and it has been an amazing journey. I feel like I have grown not just spiritually but intellectually as well. I have learned so much from the class material and our teachers Alhamdulilah. It has been truly a humbling experience. The classes are fun and interactive as well as educational. Our teachers are always there for us at a personnel and educational level. Joining Sameera Institute has really made me a better person and I am so thankful to Allah and our teachers for dedicating their time and sharing their knowledge with us.
Classical Islamic Knowledge diploma program
Alhamdulilah, being a part of CIK (Classical Islamic Knowledge diploma program) is a great blessing. It is a great opportunity to learn about our din and progress on the path of spirituality. Sometimes, it can be difficult balancing school and CIK classes. However, it has become an essential part of my life which keeps me connected to Allah swt. Also, I am so thankful for the wonderful company I get to be apart of and our wonderful teachers who put in their time and effort merely for the sake of Allah swt.
Learn Quranic arabic
I joined Sameera Institute last year with the aim to learn more about Islam and learn Quranic arabic. The program is very extensive and the teachers are very supportive every step pf the way. Its been a great journey for me and I would recommend it to everyone.
Great learning experience for parents
I am a mother of 4 children, 4th child just turned 4 months old ,I must say this course is putting so much barakah in my time. after joining this course I got pregnant and was worried about how I was going to continue this course? ALLAH IS THE GREATEST PLANNER, He made it very easy for me to taking these classes .I am grateful to my ALLAH that He guided me towards his religion by joining this course. I must say the environment of the classroom is excellent, it is kids friendly :)), and the teachers are amazing. This course motivates me to learn more n more about our beautiful religion and I am loving it , even after the new born Alhamdollillah !!..
Pursuit of Islamic knowledge
We sometimes find there are things missing from our lives, things we’re not fully aware of. The pursuit of Islamic knowledge through Sameera Institute is one such thing. The courses have had a significant positive change in my life, and I now feel incomplete without regularly attending classes. Whenever we don’t have classes, be it because of the end of summer, or other personal reasons, the void is deeply felt. I hope to continue with my studies, and pray Allah accepts everyone’s efforts toward this mission!
